Its shot at a very high psi.. causing the surfaces to be harder, more "lubricantish" (i know, lol), Less chances of fractures happening and less reliance on lubricants to do the job. Its supposedly still pretty rare.. I read about it in a tuner mag a while back.. Looks to be very promising though.. proven as well. Not sure about cost though. Not too many companies provide the work, so I imagine its not too cheap.
NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
